Carlos Ramirez sentenced to prison for string of robberies

ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

A man who admitted to a string of robberies in Allentown is heading to prison.

Carlos Ramirez was sentenced Friday to two-and-a-half to five years in prison.

Ramirez robbed a Hess Express on Hanover Avenue last December, police said. He also robbed the Walgreen's store on South 5th Street twice.

Ramirez pleaded guilty to the charges earlier this year.
