CATASAUQUA, Pa. -

Plans for an unused property in Lehigh County are back on track again.

Catasauqua borough council has voted to buy the former FLSmidth property.

It's making an offer of $750,000 dollars.

The property would be home to a new emergency services building and possibly a new municipal hall.

Catasauqua would use 2-3 acres of the 12-acre plot and sell the rest.

The borough had a purchase agreement with Weston Solutions of West Chester but that apparently fell through.

Officials say the deal could be completed within two months.
