Christopher Perez sentenced for shooting Angel Filomeno in Allentown
A man who pleaded guilty to aggravated assault in the shooting of an Allentown man has learned his fate.
Christopher Perez, 27, was sentenced Wednesday to five years, 8 months to 15 years in state prison.
Perez was accused of shooting Angel Filomeno three times in June of 2012 in the 700 block of N. Fourth Street.
In exchange for his guilty plea, other charges -- including attempted homicide and recklessly endangering another person -- were dropped.
