Cody Ziegler, NJ fugitive, discovered during Easton traffic stop
A man wanted on a warrant out of New Jersey was taken into custody after a traffic stop in Easton, officials said.
Cody C. Ziegler was arrested at a convenience store in the 200 block of Cattell Street in Easton at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday, after police discovered a 10-month-old warrant for his arrest out of Somerset County, officials said.
Court papers did not indicate why police stopped Ziegler.
Ziegler did not appear for arraignment on a charge of operating a motor vehicle during a second suspension for DWI in Somerset County and a warrant was issued last July 20, officials said.
Ziegler, 32, of 12 Readington Rd., Whitehouse Station, was arraigned on a charge of arrest prior to requisition and was committed on $150,000 bail to the Northampton County Prison, where he is awaiting extradition, according to court documents.
