Commission holds hearing in Allentown on special ed. funding
State lawmakers are in Allentown to find ways to fund special education fairly.
The Special Education Funding Commission held the latest in a series of hearings Thursday.
This one was at the Allentown School District administration building.
Local state Senator Pat Browne co-chairs the panel.
It's supposed to develop a new formula to distribute special education funding.
The commission is expected to roll out its recommendations this fall.
