A fire that damaged a Northampton County home Tuesday morning is being termed suspicious by investigators.
The fire broke out at 567 Beefwood Road in Lehigh Township around 10 a.m.
A 69News crew on the scene said the fire damage was contained to one or two rooms and smoke damaged other rooms of the house.
No one was injured.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by township police, the township fire marshal and a state police fire investigator. Township police chief Scott Fogel termed the fire suspicious.
Fire companies from Lehigh Township, Walnutport, Northampton, and Diamond Fire Company responded to assist with extinguishing the fire.
