Fire that killed Harley Henning near Walnutport ruled accidental
April 24 fire appears to have started near wood stove, police say
A fire that killed a man and destroyed his house in Northampton County last month has been ruled accidental, police said Tuesday.
Harley Henning, 65, died when flames tore through his home on Washington Drive in Lehigh Township, near Walnutport, on Apr. 24, officials said.
The fire started accidentally near a wood-burning stove, said police, who haven't been able to determine an exact cause.
The coroner has ruled Henning's death an accident.
