BETHLEHEM, Pa. -

International Day of Peace celebrations took place in the Lehigh Valley on Wednesday.

A ceremony was held to rededicate PBS 39's "peace pole" in Bethlehem, and students from Donegan Elementary School helped out.

The poles represent the oneness of humanity's wish for world peace.

Students carried international flags and wished peace to each country, and performers from the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts rounded out the ceremony with some choral performances.
