Local Syrians rally against U.S. involvement in homeland crisis
Members of the Syrian community in our region have taken to the streets again Friday to rally against U.S. involvement in the crisis in their homeland.
Two different rallies are being held in Allentown Friday.
One started about around 11:30 a.m. at a church on Catasauqua Avenue.
Another started around noon at a church on Fullerton Avenue and will proceed to the federal courthouse on Hamilton Street.
Protesters say they are not convinced that chemical weapons were used by Syrian President Bashar Al Assad's troops and they don't want the United States to get involved in the conflict.
