LV Air show sees 40,000 visitors
Officials say numbers far exceeded expectations
The new Lehigh Valley Air Show had a very good debut.
So good, in fact... that it became a victim of its own success!
Officials say they estimate attendance for the inaugural airshow this past weekend at 40,000--many more than they originally anticipated.
Because of that, officials are now focusing on ways to reduce the time people spent iin lines -- waiting to get into the airport, waiting to buy food, etc.
Overall, officials say the show was a big success, especially since it's been 17 years since the last time the Lehigh Valley International Airport hosted an air show.
