A man found passed out in a woman's greenhouse was potted, officials said.
Kyle J. Oswald told police he had been drinking at a bar before he entered a greenhouse in the 1700 block of Newport Avenue, Northampton, Northampton Co., through an unlocked door and was discovered passed out on the floor by the homeowner at about 10 p.m. Saturday, officials said.
Oswald, who had a blood alcohol content of .21, was wearing only swim-type pants and socks, officials said, noting that he had removed his sneakers and placed them next to him.
After he was awakened by a sternum rub, Oswald told police he thought he was at a friend's house, officials said, adding that the homeowner did not know Oswald.
Oswald, 28, of 3306 Lehigh St., Whitehall Twp., Lehigh Co., was arraigned on charges of criminal trespass, defiant trespass and public drunkenness and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $20,000 bail, according too court documents.
A preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. June 14.
