The new operator of a major car parts distribution center is giving current employees a chance to hang onto their jobs.

Penske Logistics has been awarded a contract to run the BMW parts distribution center in Lower Nazareth Township.

BMW told the state it would lay off 95 employees at the facility at the end of June but Penske says it will allow current employees to stay on.

Penske will start running the facility July 1st.

Neither side has released the financial terms of the deal.
