Shrimp shoplifter charged with felony, police say
Isaul Collazo-Vega admitted taking $153 worth of shrimp from a grocery store.
A man who stole shrimp from a food store earlier this week has reeled in a felony charge, officials said.
Isaul Collazo-Vega admitted taking $153 worth of shrimp from the Bottom Dollar at 719 Stefko Boulevard, Bethlehem, at 10:25 a.m. Sunday after he was shown store surveillance video by police on Monday, officials said.
Collazo-Vega, 41, of 1418 East 8th St., Bethlehem, was arraigned Tuesday night on a felony retail theft charge because of two previous shoplifting convictions and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $15,000 bail, according to court documents.
A preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. Oct. 2.
