A man accused of holding a woman captive inside a Bethlehem home for weeks will be heading to trial.

A preliminary hearing was held Wednesday morning for Steven Kitchell and all charges were held for court.

Police say Kitchell held a woman inside a home on Montclair Avenue in Bethlehem from late May until mid-June.

The woman told investigators that she was beaten, raped and shot with a BB gun.

Kitchell was arrested in Essex County, New Jersey in June.
