Eight figure price tags on homes can easily be seen in Beverly Hills, Palm Beach and the Hamptons, but what about in the Lehigh Valley?

Tom Demshock of Fishburn Realty says he's had people ask if the decimal is in the wrong place when he shows them a $14.7 million cape cod in Saucon Valley.

A mile from a country club, the 24 acre, 5,900 square foot, Bingen Road home could now be yours.

At $14.7 million, it's one of top five most expensive residential properties in Pennsylvania.

It even beats the $10.5 million Twin Silo property in Doylestown.

"Many feel it's the most beautiful home and property in all of Bucks County," Linda Danese of Kurfiss Sotheby's International Realty said.

The 103 acre property has its own two acre lake, lagoon style pool, an array of formal gardens a la Versailles, a three bedroom guest house and entertainment pavilion to name a few features.

Other high end realtors say they've had homes priced in near $10 million in the Lehigh Valley, but they didn't sell.

The most expensive home to sell in the area was a $3.9 million property on Green Acres Drive in 2012.

Demshock says that land and location set the price, and finding larger lot sizes in Saucon Valley is not what it used to be.

"We're at ground zero for the elite. Saucon Valley is home to 80 percent of the million dollar plus homes in the Lehigh Valley. If you're in that stratosphere, this is where you want to live," he said.
