WILSON, Pa. -

Two people were robbed Wednesday night in Wilson and police say the crimes are connected.

The first robbery happened around 9:22 p.m. in the 1600 block of Ferry Street. Police say  an 18-year-old was delivering food when two men approached the victim and demanded money. When the delivery person tried to get into his or her vehicle, one of the them shot the victim with a BB gun, according to police. The other man also tried to get into the car, but the victim sped off.

One of the suspects is described as a black male, around 6'3, wearing grey shorts and a grey hooded sweatshirt, with the hood up. There is no description of the second suspect.

The delivery person's arm was injured and their driver's side car window was shot out, according to police. 

The second robbery happened around 10:15 p.m. in the 1500 block of Spruce Street.

Police say a 51-year-old woman and a 25 year-old-woman were walking along the street when three men, approached them. One of the men grabbed the 51-year-old woman by the neck and demanded money, according to police. When the victims did not give them anything, the three men took off toward Easton. Police say at least one of the men had a handgun. The women were not injured. 

The three are described as black males, who were wearing ski masks.

Police believe the robberies are connected because they occurred near each other and weapons were used in both.
