NEWTON, N.J. -

A New Jersey grand jury has indicted a Carbon County doctor on forgery charges as part of a prescription pill scam.

Dr. John Mazella of Jim Thorpe faces charges of unlawful practice of medicine and forgery.

The indictment also charged Robert J. Kosch Jr. of Bloomfield, N.J., with forgery, unlawful practice of medicine, distribution of flase government documents, fraud and related offenses.
