A 31-year-old woman is facing charges after police said she left her baby locked up in a car while she shopped in Warren County, N.J.
Officers were called to the Marshall's parking lot at 215 Mountain Court in Hackettstown, N.J., around 2:30 p.m. on Friday, police said.
They found a one-year-old child sleeping in a car seat. The doors were locked and the engine was not running.
Irene-Susanne Hall, of Lebanon, N.J., left the child in the car while she shopped for about 45 minutes, police said.
Hall was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. She posted $25,000 bail and was released, pending a court appearance.
