Environmental groups are asking for more tests on the effects Superstorm Sandy may have had on toxic waste sites in New Jersey and New York.

Officials have conducted only visual inspections on the sites, not the soil tests wanted by the the environmental groups and some residents who live near the toxic waste sites.

The EPA says it did a handful of tests right after the storm, and says the effects of Sandy have been minimal.

But, they were unable to provide details or locations of any recent testing.

New Jersey officials say testing the sites is the EPA's responsibility, not the state's.
