A family in Phillipsburg, N.J., opened their home and farm to the public to help out the Salvation Army.
"The Giving Weekend," held at The Perfect Christmas Tree Farm, featured hay rides, wreath making and a visit from Mrs. Claus.
The event, organized through NORWESCAP, raised money for the Salvation Army, which provides gifts to needy families during the holidays.
Volunteer Colleen Baylor said, "We like the community to get together, everybody to have a good time and learn more about the Salvation Army and just enjoy the beautiful scenery."
Last year, the program provided gifts to 810 children across Warren County and officials are hoping to help even more kids this Christmas.
