WASHINGTON, N.J. -

A man at the controls of a boat that capsized on the Delaware River has been slapped with more charges.

Donald Jessamine surrendered to New Jersey State Police at their barracks in Washington on Friday.

Jesssamine, of Phillipsburg, was charged with vehicular homicide in connection with the death of Lane Alden. Her body was pulled from the Delaware River on June 28, five days after she fell into the water from the boat in Harmony Twp., Warren Co.

Jessamine, who was already charged with operating the boat while under the influence, posted the required 10% of the $75,000 bail, police said.

Jessamine and another passenger made it to the shore safely after the boat capsized.
