HIGH BRIDGE, N.J. -

A 38-year-old Hunterdon County woman was arrested for allegedly manufacturing child pornography and sexually assaulting a child under the age of 13.

High Bridge resident Lori A. Bauer, also known as Lori A. Bauer-Warden was arrested Friday, according to the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office.

“Through a joint investigation with the New York City Police Department, it was revealed that in 2011, the defendant while residing in Holland Township, did video record a child under the age of 13 engaged in sexual activity or simulated sexual activity," said Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns III. " The defendant then transmitted the videos to a third party in New York. That third party is incarcerated and that is an on-going investigation by NYPD.”

Bauer was charged with manufacturing child pornography, transmitting child pornography and engaging ins sexual conduct with a child.

Bauer was sent to the Hunterdon County Jail on $175,000 bail.
