HUNTERDON CO., N.J. -

Crews searching for a missing New Jersey man have recovered a body from the Delaware River, state police said.

Police have not yet identified the man's body, which was found Tuesday afternoon near the Milford Bridge in Hunterdon County.

Search crews from New Jersey and Pennsylvania have been looking for Gary West since early Saturday afternoon when West's raft overturned on the river, a few miles south of the Delaware Water Gap.

West, 38, of Summit, N.J., and his 14 year-old daughter launched with a group from the Delaware River Family Campground on Route 46, according to Adam Grossman, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police.

Grossman told 69 News Tuesday night that the body matches the description of West, though no positive identification has been made.
