CLINTON TWP., N.J. -

One person was killed in a two-truck accident that tied up traffic for miles early Friday.

The accident happened around 3:30 a.m. on Interstate 78 East at mile marker 21.9 in Clinton Twp., Hunterdon Co., N.J., police said.

A flatbed truck was pulled off to the shoulder of the highway when it was hit by a tractor trailer, according to initial reports.

The driver of the tractor trailer, 42-year-old Lloyd King, Jr.,of Middletown, Dauphin Co., apparently lost control of his truck and hit the back of the flatbed truck, police said.
