New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie isn't looking for a job in Washington.

Christie says he likes being governor and has no interest, at this stage in his life, of being attorney general if Mitt Romney is elected president.

Christie says he was telling the truth when he said he didn't want to run for president and didn't want to be vice president.

The governor says he intends to fulfill his commitment and complete his first term. Christie says he'll then make a decision on whether to seek a second term.

Christie made the comments to reporters in Sea Isle City Thursday.

He'll give the keynote address at the Republican National Convention in Tampa on Tuesday night.
