Preliminary settlement in NJ red light camera lawsuit
If you've been busted by a red light traffic camera in New Jersey, you might have a shot at getting your money back.
A preliminary settlement has been reached in a lawsuit filed over the cameras.
The lawsuit claims cameras in 18 municipalities, including Pohatcong Township, Warren County, didn't give drivers enough time to stop.
Camera provider American Traffic Solutions would establish a $4 million payout fund if a judge approves the settlement.
Anyone who received a ticket before August of last year and paid the $85 fine is eligible for reimbursement.
