Selena Mae Frazier, wanted on NJ warrant, arrested after traffic stop, police say
A passenger in a car pulled over for a traffic stop in Northampton County was found to be wanted by New Jersey police on a warrant for a probation violation, officials said.
Selena Mae Frazier was taken into custody in the unit block of South 3rd St., Easton, at about 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, after police discovered she had an active warrant out of Essex County, N.J., officials said.
Frazier was one of two passengers in a 2001 gold Chevrolet Impala that had been pulled over for a traffic violation, officials said, adding that she was on parole because of a drug offense.
Frazier, 53, of 1347 Lehigh St., Easton, is being held in the Northampton County Prison on $35,000 bail, according to court documents.
A preliminary hearing is set for 10 a.m. April 19.
