A wrongful death lawsuit has been filed over a deadly construction accident in Warren County, New Jersey.

The family of Kenneth Stafford of Nesquehoning, Carbon County is seeking $6 million from the Alfis family --Michael Alfis IV, Michael Alfis III, and Michael Alfis Jr.

Stafford was killed in May of last year.

He was helping to dig a trench on the Alfis property in Knowlton Township, Warren County when it collapsed.

The lawsuit says the Aflis didn't provide any safety equipment for Stafford among other accusations.

The Alfis couldn't be reached for comment.
