Weather-related accident snarls I-78 traffic

A tractor trailer crash closed Interstate 78 westbound for around two hours in Hunterdon County, New Jersey Monday morning.

Officials said a section of I-78 along Jugtown Mountain in Bethlehem Township, was closed after a westbound accident, and there were major delays on the eastbound side as well.

State Police said a tractor trailer crashed through a concrete barrier and into opposing traffic near mile marker 10 around 6:30 a.m.

Only minor injuries were reported but officials confirm that the accidents were weather-related and that crews were salting the roadway.
