NJ Congressman Jon Runyan won't seek re-election in 2014
New Jersey Republican Congressman Jon Runyan says two terms in Washington are enough.
Runyan announced Wednesday that he will not seek re-election in 2014, saying that it's time to move on.
Runyan said he never intended to become a career politician, and that he wants to spend more time with his wife and children.
He is a former NFL offensive lineman who played for the Philadelphia Eagles, San Diego Chargers, and Tennessee Titans.
Runyan defeated a Democrat to win his seat in 2010, one of dozens of newcomers who gave the GOP the majority in the House.
