Officials keeping a close eye on a sinkhole in Hackettstown
Officials in Hackettstown, New Jersey say they are are keeping a close eye on a sinkhole that opened on Thursday after a water-main break.
The big hole is in the 100 block of College View Drive and the sinkhole continues to grow.
It is estimated to be about 40 feet wide.
A building inspector determined that one of the buildings nearby is unsafe and two other homes are damaged.
An engineer will be on the scene to check out the area.
