PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. -

A project that stalled in the Phillipsburg, New Jersey, School District is back on track.

The New Jersey School Development Authority has awarded an $80 million contract for the construction of a new high school.

Ground was broken on a new school in the fall of 2009, but the project didn't have enough funding.

Officials say construction on the new school will begin in September and it is expected to be finished in time for the start of the 2016 - 2017 school year.

WFMZ's Bo Koltnow will have more on this story tonight on 69 News at 6:00.
