The search continues for a fifth missing swimmer who disappeared Tuesday afternoon at the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.
Park officials say 21-year-old Amjed Hasan was last seen swimming in the Delaware River near the Douglas Trail parking area in Worthing State Forest along Old Main Road in Warren County, New Jersey just before 5 p.m.
He had been picnicking and swimming with family and friends.
Park rangers from Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area are helping New Jersey State Park police with the search.
Has is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs between 120-140 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing white shorts with red trim.
Officials say Hasan, a Clifton, N.J., resident was not wearing a life jacket.
Four others have drowned in the Delaware River so far this summer.
