WASHINGTON, D.C. -

A number of health centers in Pennsylvania are getting a boost from the feds.

U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Burwell announced Thursday $1.75 millions in Affordable Care Act mental health services funding to support seven health care centers in the state.

The money will go to the Berks Community Health Center in Reading, Community Health and Dental Care, Inc. in Pottstown, Community Health Clinic, Inc. in New Kensington, Esperanza Health Center, Inc. in Philadelphia, La Comunidad Hispania, Inc. in Kennett Square, Public Health Management Corporation in Philadelphia and Squirrel Hill Health Center in Pittsburgh.

Each health care center will receive $250,000 in funding to establish or expand behavioral health services.
