The fire was reported just after 9:15 a.m. at the Suit Corner store, said city fire officials, who noted that a second alarm was struck about a half-hour later.
The establishment was closed and all employees were able to get out safely, officials said.
The fire was brought under control shortly after 10:30 a.m., said Deputy Chief Eric Fleming, Philadelphia Fire Dept.
