Pennsylvania lawmakers grind on with long to-do list

Senators convened Friday afternoon as the Legislature grinds toward Sunday's expected adjournment for the summer.

The Senate plans to debate the latest bill to permit the private sale of wine and liquor.
The House is expected to debate the latest transportation funding plan Saturday, but top lawmakers said the governor's push for changes to the state's two biggest public employee pension systems will likely wait until fall.
