The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports the Pittsburgh-based condiment maker and food giant will air a 30-second ad during the Fox network's telecast of the game on February 2nd.
AdWeek and other trade publications says those spots are going for about $4 million.
This year's Super Bowl marks only the second time Heinz has advertised during the game. The last time was 16 years ago.
The commercial is part of a promotion in which customers have been asked to submit pictures of themselves with their favorite Heinz product. It was created by Cramer-Krasselt, a Chicago firm.
