HAYCOCK TWP., Pa. -

A woman was killed and two other people were injured in a head-on collision in Bucks County. 

The accident happened around 9:35 p.m. Wednesday.

According to state police, a 26-year-old woman from Warrington was traveling south on Route 563 in a 2007 Chevrolet when it crossed over the center line and went into the northbound lane.

A 2014 Chevrolet was traveling north and swerved into the southbound lane to avoid it, but the 2007 Chevrolet also went back into southbound lane and the two collided head on, according to state police.

The 26-year-old was taken to the hospital, where she died.

The driver of the 2014 Chevrolet, a 48-year-old woman from Hellertown, Northampton County, and a 17-year-old boy, also from Hellertown, were injured in the wreck, however, no immediate information was available on their condition.
