One dance team from our area will be shining on the world stage.

Dancers from the Pottstown Dance Theatre will be performing at the London Olympics.

Our 69 News cameras were there Tuesday night as the dancers were rehearsing at their studios in North Coventry Township, Chester County.

They'll be performing at the Olympic village on August 12th.

That's the day of the closing ceremonies and the team is pumped up.

"I think right now it's kind of a more excited to go and I think I once we hit those stages is that we are going to be on the world stage," said Michelle Jones-Wurtz, owner of the Pottstown Dance Theatre.

The group consists of 18 girls and four boys.
