Bucks DA to probe health care rolls
Bucks County is cracking down on its health insurance rolls.
An audit has found there are 133 ineligible dependents of county workers in the county health care system.
County Commissioners discussed the audit at a meeting Wednesday.
They say they don't believe there is malicious intent behind this but District Attorney David Heckler is looking into the matter.
Officials say dropping the 133 ineligible people would save the county $600,000 per year.
The dependents have until June 30th to verify their eligibility.
