4 people injured when commuter bus, truck collide

Bus-truck accident sends 3 to hospital

BUCKINGHAM TWP., Pa. -

Four people were injured in an accident involving a truck and a commuter bus early Monday morning.

The accident happened shortly after 5:30 a.m. at Routes 202 and 263 in Buckingham Twp., Bucks County.

Aerial video from the scene showed much of the TransBridge bus, which was traveling from Bethlehem to New York City, went off the road and into a wooded area.

The driver of the bus and a passenger in the truck were transported to St. Mary's Medical Center, but police had no information on the extent of their injuries.

The driver of the truck and one of the four passengers aboard the bus were taken to Doylestown Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police said. The other three passengers on the bus were uninjured.

Police said their investigation continues to determine how the accident happened.
