PENNSBURG, Pa. -

Emergency crews were busy in Montgomery County Thursday night.

Officials there say three houses in the 300 block of Pottstown Avenue/Route 663 in Pennsburg were evacuated, following a 'mental health incident.'

Officials said an individual had intentionally combined chemicals and was taken by ambulance for a medical and mental health evaluation.

Residents in the homes on either side were evacuated but were allowed to return to their homes by 3:30 a.m. Friday.

The call came in around 10:30 p.m.

Two people had to be taken to the hospital.

There is no word on on their conditions.

The district attorney's office is considering whether to file criminal charges.
