A tanker truck hauling propane rolled over and caught fire Monday morning in Bucks County.
Fire crews were working to douse the flames in Tinicum Township as officials evacuated people who live or work within a one-mile radius of the accident scene.
Those evacuated were taken to the St. John's Rectory at 4050 Durham Rd. in Ottsville. There were about a dozen people at the shelter.
The accident happened when the tanker collided with a vehicle on Route 611, also known as Easton Road, near Tohickon Valley Road, around 7:45 a.m.
The vehicle was burned beyond recognition, according to Nockamixon Township officials.
One person was taken to the hospital.
