Gas leak forces some evacuations in Whitpain Twp.

A gas leak in Montgomery County is forcing officials to evacuate some homes as a precaution.

The gas leak was reported around 9 a.m. Wednesday on Township Line Road in Whitpain Twp.

Township Line Road is closed from Grasshopper Lane to Lantern Lane.

Lower Gwynedd police and fire departments are responding.

There are no reports of any injuries.
