Gay marriage challenge filed
Twenty-one gay couples have filed a lawsuit challenging Pennsylvania's same-sex marriage ban.
The suit filed in Commonwealth Court parallels a separate challenge to the law filed two months ago in federal court.
Both challenges claim the law violates the federal constitution.
The latest filing claims it also violates the state constitution.
All 21 couples were married with licenses from Montgomery County Register of Wills Bruce Hanes.
A judge has ordered the clerk to stop issuing marriage licenses to gay couples.
