LANSDALE, Pa. -

One person was injured when ice went through a vehicle's windshield on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike on Thursday.

The incident happened around noon in the northbound lanes near mile marker 31.1 in the Lansdale area of Montgomery County, state police said.

One lane was blocked off to traffic during the investigation.

Police could provide no information about injuries or where the ice came from.
