19-year-old Karisa Kade killed in Bucks County crash

MILFORD TWP., Pa. -

Police in upper Bucks County say one person is dead after an accident Sunday night in Milford Township.

Officials say 19-year old Karisa Lauren Kade of Quakertown was pronounced dead at the scene of the fatal accident in the 2400 block of Heiter Road around 7:30 p.m.

Police say Kade was a passenger in a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Amanda Marie Helveston of Quakertown. Helveston's car crossed into the northbound lane and hit a tree.

Helveston and another passenger, 20-year-old Jonathan Michael Simpson, also of Quakertown, were injured in the accident.

No one in the car was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
