POTTSTOWN, Pa. -

Two people are behind bars after a bizarre string of events in Montgomery County.

A man went to a pharmacy and a pizza shop in Pottstown and a grocery store in West Pottsgrove Township and tried robbing the places with his fingers in the shape of a gun, police said.

The man demanded drugs at the pharmacy, but he left when the pharmacist told him they didn't have any, police said.

The pizza shop owner was able to chase the man out when his daughter alerted him to the attempted robbery in Italian.

Police were able to pull the man and a woman over on Route 100, where they were placed under arrest.  The pair is facing a number of charges.
