There was more then meets the eye to a display of old military vehicles in Montgomery County Saturday.

Humvees, military gear and equipment greeted everyone entering Zerns Farmers Market in Gilbertsville.

It was all part of an event to help honor and support a Marine who lost his legs in Afghanistan.

Lance Corporal Mark Fidler was injured by an IED while serving overseas.

Hundreds of people turned out to help support Fidler and his family.

"It's tough enough that this young soldier gave so much for his country so we're here to give back to him," said John Cramsey of the Sons of the American Legion and American Legion Riders.

Fidler has been nominated to receive a smart home-- where many of the functions of the house can be controlled with an iPad.
