A New Jersey police officer who's accused of shooting at the police in Bucks County has entered a plea.

Richard Klementovich has pleaded no contest to attempted homicide, aggravated assault and related offenses.

He was then sentenced to 8-and-a-half to 20 years in prison.

Police say Klementovich shot at police officers last June after he barricaded himself inside the home of his estranged wife in Doylestown.

The Gulf War Veteran had been heading for trial.

His lawyer was planning on using a temporary insanity defense.
